Downtown Greenville club and bar owners met along with city officials Wednesday to discuss Tuesday's deadly shooting, voicing their concerns about safety.

It was an open forum where many spoke out about what they believe would be good changes.

Some say they want more police to patrol on foot and to stop the crowds that tend to gather in late night hours.

Another concern was the idea of specials and cheap prices of drinks because many feel they attract the wrong type of customer.

The co-owner of the other place spoke out for the first time after after the shootings.

Chief of Police William Anderson says the city spends about $400-thousand dollars to patrol downtown.

And that they originally put the bulk of those patrols towards peak days of Wednesday through Friday, but after this incident they're looking to add more patrols on the off days.
