The young people will learn one day, that this is not the wild wild west. I used to live in Robersonville, I loved that place way before I moved there from NJ. In the past few years it has become terrible. As far as talking about these boys and naming names, isn't that what they wanted to "have a name." Why would anybody in their right mind "hatein" because they didn't think of it first. Think of what first? shotting someone. Jessie, it appears, your mental state has become fogged. It also appears that you may want to go back to school and learn how to spell and talk before posting this type of foolishness. I'm sorry but it had to be said. And I am black, not white so this blog has nothing to do with race. It has to do with common sense, which it seems the young people don't have. It should be like the vietnam war, if you want to be lawless, then your butt was sent to vietnam. It should be the same today, if you want to shot guns at people, go to Iraq or anywhere in the middle east.

Can you all for once get off the subject of names, and get to the real issue. We are at war in Williamston, and with one another. I take my hat off to the officers for stepping their game up by Getting them off the streets for everyones sake. Make sure they stay where they should have been for a very long time. The streets in Williamston can become safe again, but we all have to do our part. Stay vigilant, and report crimes to the Police. I promise you, if the majority of people get more involved, then their will be less crime. It will have to take all of you to do this. Take illegal guns away from thugs, murderers, rapist and just bad people in general. This is a very sad day for all of us. But one thing for sure, it can change. It has too. How bad do you want it, ask yourself that first. God Speed

John, the both sides of the mouth thing doesn't work because it doesn't apply in any way. Try again. Some people can't be helped. Unless you consider taking care of them from cradle to grave helping them. I call that enabling a lazy bum and causing an entire sub culture to develop with anti social values. They are here and the only true help is tough love, so tough that the Johns of the world would call it cruel. John could never support stopping free handouts, so there is no hope.

TAD, I must admit I'm impressed with your mastery of talking out both said of your mouth at the same time! Only thing, you accomplish is saying twice the foolishness in half the time. To prove my point in one post you state you're here for a few years for aging parents because they won't move to a more hospitable place, why not help improve MC! Then on a post regarding "violence prompt business to close Jul 7 10:33PM you take great pride in talking about the "uneducatable workforce" which you love to mention, you state " you have served in many conference rooms and told your collegues not to come to eastern NC for the very same reason". You MUST be somebody to have so much influence. Shame you don't have the slightest idea how to use it. Me be serious, I have been, you're just not capable of recognizing it. Too much hate attitude, always wanting to put somebody down and too frequently using the same old tired dialogue. I guess you mean you're conservative, right? Sure you are!

Poor liberal Johnny. Meagan tweaked his nose. Are you adept at using your computer John? Just do a little research and you will find all of the information that you are asking Meagan for. It really isn't research, it's just Googling or searching on Yahoo. Put in the term and click. The names are babble. It is stupendously funny and we have the right to laugh at the names and you. If they don't want to be laughed at, they should not do, say or make up funny names and you should not say silly things. Oranjelo, Lemonjelo, La - a (get it La dash a), hithead (this word with one letter added at the first and pronounced Shateed) are all real names in this local area. Please John, be serious.

Meagan, what ever made you think this country is free? I would agree you have a right to think names are strange or funny sounding but I'll never agree you have the right to put anyone down, belittle anyone, because they're different from you. How do you know what their names represent? What makes you an authority in African language/culture? You must be some kind of authority to know 99% of the time these "stupid" names aren't cultural based? Where to do you get that from or like a lot of the time you just open your mouth and could care less what comes out? BTW how does Meagan figure in "our" culture? How does their names disrespect our culture? If you know these things to be true, then let me know, otherwise it sounds like you are the one generating babble. What's wrong with life less complicated? You afraid of something? If you could be a part of it, wouldn't you? I guess you've NEVER taken anything for free, right? And just what have you contributed to prospertize Our Freedoms?

"You All Need Prayer" There is only one higher power, God, "whoever one's higher power may be" is nonsense. Because you even blew that statement, you hit a home run, ensuring that your whole statement is just more blather.

Racism is so prevalent in Eastern NC as evidenced by the comments below. We need MUTUAL love, respect, and acceptance in the minority and majority communities. This is the most logical comment. Now back to the shootings no matter what color the victims/perps bottom line is, God or whoever one's higher power may be, will ensure justice is served and proper punishment is given. I will pray for all.
