Police say two separate drivers who slowed down because kids were playing in the street ended up getting held up at gunpoint by two teens.
Greenville police say 18-year-old Tyshum Montrell Salisbury of B's Barbecue Rd. in Greenville, and a 14 year old, whose name is not released because of his young age, are responsible for the crimes Friday evening.
Police say the incidents happened on B's Barbecue Rd. near Best Rd. at 5:45 p.m. Friday. Police say one driver was hit in the face when he told the teens he didn't have any money. The other driver who was held up did says he did give the robbers cash, and one hit him in the head with the handgun. Both victims were treated and released from the hospital.
Police say detectives received information that the suspects were at 2821-B Best Rd. Police surrounded the location and arrested the suspects.
Salisbury is due in Pitt County Court Monday.
