Anti Death Penalty March Continues

It may be hot outside---but mother nature didn't stop a hand full of activists from continuing their march through North Carolina Friday---opposing the death penalty.

Sojourners for Abolition and Reconciliation, or SO-FAR, started their 300-mile march in Raleigh back on Sunday. Friday, the group stopped in Williamston, meeting and praying with local residents whose family members have been executed in North Carolina.

SO-FAR is calling for an end to the death penalty and promotes compassion for murder victim's families and support for the families of those on death row.

SO-FAR will be marching in Greenville this weekend and will end its journey back in Raleigh.
