UPDATED: Trial Begins In Child's Death

The second trial for a woman accused of murdering a nine year old boy back in 2005, started Monday afternoon in superior court.

Monday, jury selection in the case against 28 year old Vonzell Adams.

A source close to the case, says Adams' attorney, David Sutton, had to be taken away in handcuffs for contempt of court.

His client is being tried for the death of nine year old Christopher Fogss.

He died while playing outside is home in Ayden. The first trial ended when a judge declared a mistrial.

Christopher Foggs of Ayden died after getting shot, playing in his front yard in April 2005.

28-year-old Vonzeil Adams went on trial in March for murder, thirteen counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and three counts of discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling for the death of the little boy. The judge declared a mistrial after the jury was unable to reach a unanimous verdict.

Jaoul Raoul Green was sentenced for the fatal shooting in 2006. Four other women face charges in the death of Christopher Foggs but have not gone to trial yet.
