Charges Filed Against Person Who Broke Into Home Of Marine

Police have filed charges in the shooting of two men that broke into the home of a Marine in Havelock.

According to the Havelock News 19 year-old Tony Fuentest of Havelock has been charged with breaking and entering, assault, and conspiracy to commit breaking and entering and assault.

22 year-old Jacob Sylvester was also shot. 25 year-old Blaine Hallmark, the shooter and resident, suffered minor injuries in the altercation.

District Attorney Scott Thomas opted not to charge Hallmark in the shooting. Sylvester is still in the hospital in fair condition.

    District Attorney Scott Thomas opted not to charge Hallmark in the shooting. Good job Marine, and Obama wants to take our home defence gun away? Robbers beware we are armed also. I am a proud member of the NRA.
