Police say the suspects, one wearing a bandanna over his face and wearing black clothing, ran from the scene.

As police were investigating the shooting they ended up arresting a man who lives at the house for drug charges. Hilliard Garrett was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell marijuana, possession of more than ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place.

Garrett is in the Edgecombe County jail on a $78,000 bond.

The resident of that house had got to be one complete moron for having all those drugs out when there has been a shooting going on. That's what you get for living in a high crime area and are still selling the stuff. I bet he will probably end up getting by with probation.
