AUTOPSY: New Bern Man Stabbed Multiple Times

An autopsy shows a New Bern man who was found Tuesday night in his home died from multiple injuries.

A medical examiner tells WITN News that Charles Berry had several knife wounds and a glass fragment was found in his head. Berry also had heart and lung disease, which contributed to his death.

New Bern police will only say they got a fight call Tuesday night to Berry's home on Watson Street. There they also found his girlfriend suffering from what appeared to be knife wounds. She is at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, but police have yet to release her name.
