"Pills Can Kill" Drive

It's a way residents can get rid of their unused and unwanted prescription drugs.

The Carteret County Sheriffs Department is holding another Pills Can Kill drive this Saturday at the Emerald Plantation.

The last event was held last October where they collected more than 40 thousand pills.

Authorities say this is a great way to dispose of medications, and reduce the chance of the pills getting into the hands of someone who may abuse them.

The drive will be at all five Carteret County Food Lion locations, and held from 10AM to 2PM.

I wish other communities offered the return unused pills program. As to JB, do you really think crimminals are going to turn in their illegally obtained guns? Law abiding citizens "Bare your Arms"!!!

To Kelly, what buisiness is it of yours to whom I voted for. Nor do I care if you think my comment was stupid. If you don't like it, don't read it.

Kelly: You sound like how most law abiding citizens feel. To anonymous: You seem totally out of touch with reality. You can have my left over 'pills' but no ones toughing my guns, which are all registered.

Yeah as if the people who own guns legally need or should give them away. Give away our guns and don't even bother locking your door to your home. Just let the thugs steal, rape, and murder. That was a stupid comment if I have ever heard one! Bet "you" voted for Obama.
