ECU Police say they've received a lead in the robbery and sexual assault case that happened on campus.
They released video surveillance of the suspects on Wednesday.
As ECU Police continue to look for clues, on Saturday WITN spoke to some students living in Clement Residence Hall where the assault happened. Police are searching for three suspects.
"It's just scary to think that you bring guys in and they'll sexually assault you," says Danielle Bullock who is a freshman at ECU.
Bullock is like many of the students at ECU who are now keeping a close eye on who's going in to the place they call home.
"When I come in my dorm if there is a guy out there I walk in and shut the door to make sure no one follows behind me," says Lucie Edwards a freshman.
ECU Police say the received a tip from a WITN viewer and are using that lead and conducting interviews to catch the men they believe are behind the assault and robbery.
Police say the assault happened last month very early in the morning.
This is now the second assault that has happened on ECU's campus this year.
"I've felt safe from the beginning," said Edna Seymour also a freshman. "It really hasn't concerned me at all. It hasn't really gone through my mind so."
