Three teenagers have been arrested in the fatal beating of a homeless man in Northern California.
Redding police say 18-year-old Albert Sanchez and two juveniles were arrested Thursday in the death of Timothy Alcorn. The 48-year-old man's body was found in a canyon this week.
The three are being held in Shasta County while prosecutors review the case. District Attorney Jerry Benito says prosecutors are considering charging the two younger teens as adults.
Alcorn was last seen alive Saturday by a witness who said he had a head wound. An autopsy found he died from at least one blow to the head. Redding is 160 miles north of Sacramento.
