Not having any home training has nothing to do with this situation, no home training isn't the reason Whitney got shot no home training is not the reason why she lost her two babies and no home training is not the reason why she almost lost her life, the following reasons are possible by the lack of intelligence from the father, I'm pretty sure that Whitney is a very caring beautiful young lady that was just trying to branch out, she didn't intend on any of these incidents to happen, so you cannot blame her for these incidents because they are not her faults but the fathers, and he has been locked up on $50,000 dollar bond, the charges are attempted murder and murder, thank God for that and instead of talking about Whitney how about praying for her and her family.

not having any home training does not give ANYONE the right to harm another person. the same way you think before you speak, you should think before you type. what was home training when your mother gave birth to an ignorant person like yourself... talking about home training? what about the lives of two children that didnt have a chance or even the TEENAGE mother who is fighting for her life, and have to deal with the loss of her children, and on top of the that the nut that she was dealing with. and to let you know, i was a teen mother at 16 and i have two beautiful boys at 26, and with that being said, im a home owner with a batchelors degree working on my masters... what do you have???? may god bless the family and friends

Bill, should not stereotype every case of teenage preganancy as being a result of a child having "no home training". Unless Jamesville lacks a school system, I hope that Bill would know that not all teens that get pregnant are under the conditions of consensual sex. Some young ladies are raped and abused. Is there a way to home train a young lady on how not to be raped and abused? I am not saying that this is the case of the victim, but it happens. I think people should look at the big picture. A person has been shot once again in Kinston. Now tell me is it her fault she got shot or the person who pulled the trigger? Don't attack the victim. Pray for Whitney Kinston High class of 2009

Well Whitney is my cousin and for all of you who think she is not the victim but the problem I beg to differ she is a nice caring young lady with the wrong person in the wrong setting. It has nothing to do her sexual actvity just the stupidity of the father.

Get REAL!She is condered an ADULT by all legal standards.Do you really want to blame her parents? It's troubling to say the least, but atleast blame the girl for her OWN actions.Bill,I wish everyone could do no wrong and listen to every single thing parents have told him during childhood just as you make us to believe you did.I wish,I wish,I wish.

Who are you to judge someone? Young women have children everyday, and the majority of them do a fine job in raising, caring for & loving their children. This young lady is 18 years old. If she's old enough to fight for our freedom, shouldn't she be considered old enough to reproduce? This is 2009...not 1909.

Two things that are distrubing in the headline, Pregnant and Teenager. Should not be happening in our day and age. No home training.
