A Moore County man accused of killing eight people at a nursing home heard from a grand jury Monday even though he's still being treated at a state prison hospital
Robert Kenneth Stewart, 45 years-old, has been indicted on eight counts of murder by the Moore County grand jury.
Stewart is accused of shooting seven residents and a nurse at the Pinelake Health and Rehab Center in Carthage on March 29th. He also faces attempted murder for wounding a police officer during the rampage.
Stewart's attorneys said they expected the indictments.
