I don't think we should judge this man because we really don't know what happen.I mean like Anonymous said it could be a teenager getting mad at her 23 yr old boyfriend and trying to seek revenge..but as parents we should know who are childern are dating and where they are at all times...if it goes as far as checking cell phones and text messages..then go the whole 9 yards...yes you should trust your kids but you should also protect them too...

Jax, what does this have to do with gays and lesbians? This man is innocent until proven guilty. I'm sure if he was caught in the act the bond would be set a lot higher. If he is guilty, I agree with Chris of them putting him in general population in prison. If the child wasn't protected against him (assuming he's guilty), why should he be protected against the population?

When it says indecent liberties with a child it doesn't always mean it was actually a child...most of us assume it's a small child say like under the age of 13 or 14 and was unwilling BUT It could be that a 16 or 17 year old girl got mad at her 23 year old boyfriend and wanted revenge....what better way of getting it? Some parents don't care who their daughters date and many times this is what happens. Know the facts first and leave the judging to God.

He will probably get 20 days in jail like the man who ran the ice cream shop.

As much as I hate people who hurt kids, this article really doesn't tell us anything. "Indecent liberties" as a term is sugar coating and political correctness at its worst and could mean anything from talking dirty or peeping to rape or worse, and can even be applied to teenagers in cases where one just turned 18 and the other's still 17. And before I pass judgment on another person, I'd like to know what they did. These weasel words, as Wikipedia calls them, don't tell us enough to justify comments as I see below. I do agree, however, as a broad statement, that punishments for crimes against children need to be much higher. Clearly they aren't enough of a deterrent. These people are waging war on America's future by attacking the children - we as a people need to push back, and harder. Because what are we without our future?

This is a crime aginst a child and the bond is set at $20,000. Here in lies the problem, "the bond". Why not $500,000 or higher? Maybe we should also try the person who set the bond. If found guilty this person should also have to pay for the childs counseling.

He will be a "prize" in prison for the general population! Alot of prisoners that are charged with similar charges prefer to stay in protective custody due to the dangers of being out in general population.. I say turn him loose in General Pop. and let the inmates handle their business!

Well if he is found guilty I hope that he is put in jail and yes I agree the child needs cousiling that was not right if he really did sexually abuse a innocent child.

Dwayne, duly noted! Our sentences here are no better, trust me. Love the "in hell there are no exits"! Best we all be good parents, raise good inclusive people, be a decent neighbour and love and treasure our spouse. Go to work, do your job well, help a neighbour, be a friend. Dont hate, dont lie, be yourself and listen to your heart. I'd like to add those ones to yours. Cheers, neighbour!
