A man who applied for a job at McDonald's and was rejected sought revenge, says the manager, by putting employees in a freezer and then robbing the fast food chain.
Police say the incident happened at a McDonald's on Wesleyan Boulevard in Rocky Mount early Monday morning.
A manager said a man came to into the store and forced all the employees into the freezer, took money out of the safe and left the scene.
The manager said that the unknown individual told him that he applied for a job but they would not hire him and that he needed some money. The individual is still on the loose.
There were no injuries.
