Teen Charged With Breaking Into Teacher's Home

A teenager is accused of going on a break-in spree, with one of the victims being his teacher's home in Martin County.

Jonathan Nielsen is charged with six felonies for breaking and entering.

Williamston police say the teacher's home was burglarized March 20th. Their investigation lead them to Nielsen and after searching his home they not only found the teacher's laptop and X-box, but items from other break-ins in the same neighborhood.

The 17-year-old is in jail on a $10,000 secured bond and has an April 8th court date.

I am praying for him and his family. We all have made mistakes, especially as teens and I hope and pray that he will realize now that the path that he chose doesn't lead to anything good and will turn around to a positive path for his life from now on. God Bless you all as you struggle through this. The pains of the heart are so heavy, especially when it involved your children.

Know the teacher; know the family that this boy belongs to & know the neighborhood very well. You would never expect it from this family if you knew them. So sad.
