More Pot Delivered To La Grange Family Dollar

La Grange, NC - Another stash of pot has been delivered to a discount store, where over the weekend the manager and another employee were arrested for trafficking marijuana.

On Monday, the new manager of the Family Dollar store in La Grange received what they thought were two suspicious packages. The store opened the packages and found marijuana inside. They immediately called the Lenoir County Sheriff's Department.

Captain Jim Oldenburg tells WITN News that approximately 28 pounds of pot were found this time.

Oldenburg says they are still investigating the second delivery and so far no arrests have been made.

On Saturday, deputies acted on a tip and found two packages totaling 23 pounds of pot at the store.

They arrested store manager Melissa Collie and employee Belinda Pearson for trafficking in marijuana.

This is how I feel about the whole thing. If you go ahead and pass the law here where it can be legal then you want have a problem.all the gangs want have anything to shoot about. Then our towns will collect more money off the drugs it self.If people want to kill there self behind drugs let it be their choice. But the thing is they still have to buy it from stores that sell it.Me myself is very tired of the crazy mess.Scared to walk around the hood cause they want to beef about who corner it belong to.Scared to sit in your on living room cause stupid people wants to shoot at other people.why cause they make more money then they do on the streets. And now people are losing their jobs left and right now its really going to get crazy.More people are going to die this summer over moneyand something stupid. And kinston say we are good on jobs.why are you lying to this people for.jobs are still closing or laying off people still.we need help and they know it but they dont care about this town.why?

Thats all I have heard the last 2 days. All the minorities saying that they think the police framed these women, and that they didn't think they done it. Now that this new weed has shown up, they still won't believe it.

Anonymous.. Go crack the case then, honey. I bet you watch a lot of CSI and stuff like that. Lets cut to a commercial break, then come back and tell you who the culprit is! If only it were that easy...

To Anonymous: I find your comment rather fitting considering you probably think you have everything figured out. How EXACTLY would they be over the case? It is not like these packages show up with a free trip to jail stapled to them! They are required to INVESTIGATE these things!
