'America's Most Wanted' To Cover NC Killing Of 4

Investigators trying to figure out who killed a North Carolina woman and her three children in their Conover home are getting nationwide help.

Catawba County deputies say the television show "America's Most Wanted" would feature the killings Saturday.

Authorities say a man ambushed the family at their home Thursday, stabbing or shooting Lisa Saephan and her three children -- 20-year-old Melanie, 18-year-old Pauline and 3-year-old Cody -- to death.

Sheriff David Huffman says the suspect appeared to know the family's routine. Saephan's husband had left for work shortly before the killings.

GG, yes the friend gave a description of the man, even describing what he was wearing. There is a composite sketch available for viewing. She thought he looked young until she looked at his face because he had a hoodie and backsack. I hope this helps you.

I heard about the murder Thursday in N.C. It said the 18 year old had just gotten in a friend's car to go to school when she saw an unknown man on the porch of her home and asked the friend to return her home to warn her Mother. Did the friend see the man well enough to give law enforcement a description? I missed the 3-14-09 show.

I think John Walsh is great. He turned his own tragedy into something good by helping people like this. Bring this person down John!

I hope they solve this case, but America's Most Wanted is almost comical the way that John Walsh talks trash while he has 2 or 3 big Lawmen with him.Don't you just love how he goes up to a criminal that is already handcuffed and calls him a punk, all the while hiding behind a Lawman. But if it will help solve this case, then go for it John.
