Police: Man Tied To Two Armed Robberies

Police say they've tied two armed robberies in January to a Winterville man.

George Moore of Sterling Pointe Drive is charged with robbing two Kangaroo convenience stores in Greenville.

The first one happened January 19th on Charles Boulevard, while the second one happened two days later on South Memorial Drive.

Police say in both cases the robber came into the store armed with a shotgun and demanded money.

Moore is in jail on a $25,000 secured bond.
