Man Dies At PCMH Three Months After Assault

Manslaughter charges have been brought after a man died at Pitt County Memorial Hospital because of injuries he received three months ago.

Nathan Faison was arrested by Goldsboro police today on an involuntary manslaughter charge.

Police say Faison assaulted Gerald King last November and that King died last week from a medical condition directly related to the attack.

The 45-year-old Faison is in the Wayne County jail on a $5,000 secured bond.

This is just another example of our wonderful judicial system. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to how they set bonds or lay out sentences. But Im sure whoever placed this inmate under a 5000.00 bond would have a really good explanation if asked. I agree what a joke. Wouldn't our forefathers be proud of the mess we have turned our judicial system into.
