Dollison's Father Talks With WITN

The father of a man found dead along the roadway in Pitt County Friday says he wants to set the record straight about his son.

Investigators continue to look for clues into who dumped the body of 21 year-old Brian Green Dollison on the side of Highway 264. The sheriff says Dollison could have died of a drug overdose.

Dollison's parents say they're distraught with what happened. Dollison's father, who didn't want his name used or face shown, says he's heartbroken over his son's death. The youngest of three -- Dollison's father says his son may have led a troubled life by hanging around with the wrong crowd, but the family does not believe he would have died of an overdose. His father says it's difficult to believe someone would just discard him without any remorse.

Pitt County investigators are still asking for clues and to contact them if you know anything about this case.

C if you were so religious you would know that God and Jesus were two different people. Now who is lost?

To Kathy: Thank you for commenting to The Man. I agree. So many people are without Christ and they are lost.

Mr Dollison and family, sorry for your lost, nothing I say can change anything. But my question to the rest of us, when are we going to take the gloves off of the Law Enforcement? How many of our young men and women have to die or have their lives ruined before something is done. If taxing the crap out of me will keep our young alive and the drug dealers in jail for a lifetime, then fine.

To The Man (and that might be a stretch)- I'm so very sorry you are offended by God. I'm not a holy roller at all, haven't been inside a church in 25 years. You must be mistaken to think that having a relationship with God means you must go to church. Get a little more educated and refinement and then we can talk. Otherwise, give it a rest as you appear to be a lost and desperate soul.
