Silver Alert For Greene County Man Cancelled

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert has cancelled the Silver Alert issued for Robert Stevenson of Greene County.

The alert was cancelled just after 1 a.m. Monday. A dispatcher at the Greene County Sheriff's Office says the Goldsboro Police Department located Stevenson. Stevenson is said to be "safe and sound."

Stevenson had been last seen in Hookerton, and lawmen thought he might be headed to Winston-Salem.

RALEIGH 10:21 PM -- The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man, Robert Stevenson.

Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Robert Stevenson, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Anyone with information about Robert Stevenson should call the Greene Co Sheriff's Department at 252-747-3411.

Clothing Description:Mr. Stevenson was last seen wearing brown military BDU's with a brown BDU hat and boots.
