A Missouri woman whose hair weave likely saved her life gives the credit to a much higher power.
Briana Bonds says she is blessed to be alive after police say they found a bullet fired by her ex-boyfriend lodged in her hair weave.
A Kansas City hair stylist says the weft, or fabric part, of the hair weave is the strongest part and would be the most difficult to penetrate.
The shooting happened Wednesday night, while Bonds was sitting in her car.
She says she knows the weave may have saved her life, but the real blessing came from above.
"If you ask me, I still think it was God who was actually in my passenger seat with me who actually stopped it," Bonds said. "I do."
