A driver's license checkpoint ends with one driver charged with several drug offenses.

The Martin County Sheriff's Office says it arrested 42 year old William Wayne Spruill following a checkpoint in Hassell.

Deputies say they smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. Authorities say a search of his car turned up marijuana, percocet and money. Spruill faces five drug related offenses.

Great job to the MCSD even if it was a small amount that is one pot smoker who was taking off the street a little while. Maybe they will get him again with a lot and he will have to go jail.

He should have smoked it before he drove, and left his drugs at home. Sounds like Mr. Spruill might be in big trouble if he doesn't have a precription.for the pills.Maybe he should have stayed home .
