New Bern Police now have someone they want to talk to in regards to a shooting death outside a nightclub located on Highway 55 West.
Police want to question Stanley Dale Williams in connection with the shooting death of Cameron Jamar Gatling who was killed early Sunday morning in the parking lot of Club Insomnia.

New Bern Police are looking into a Sunday morning club shooting that lead to the death of a 20 year-old male from Cove City.
Police say Cameron Jamar Gatling got involved in a fight with unknown suspects in the parking lot of Club Insomnia located on Highway 55 West.
The victim was taken to Craven Regional Medical Center where he later died. An Autopsy was scheduled for 10:30 Sunday morning.

The New Bern Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred Sunday morning at Club Insomnia on Highway 55 West.
Police were called to the location at 4:55 a.m. When they arrived, officers found a wounded male victim, Cameron Jamar GATLING, 05/12/1989, of Cove City. GATLING was transported to Craven Regional Medical Center, where he later died. An autopsy was scheduled for 10:30 Sunday morning in Jacksonville.
According to witnesses the victim got involved in a fight with unknown suspects in the parking lot of the club, at which point the victim was shot.
The State Bureau of Investigation responded to assist police in processing the crime scene.
The investigation is on-going as New Bern detectives work to identify possible suspects. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact police at 252-633-2020.
