We hurt when we founded out that we lost a love 1. Cam was 19 and was attending the school at our church tryin to get his GED. Cam was very kind young man that work hard for what he wanted in life. We think that the guy who shot and kill him should spend the rest of his life in prison. They system should not let the person off easy. we feel like that the security at the clubs need to take their jobs more serious. Cameron is the 2nd son that been shot within 5 years. This guy Stan already got long record of in 7 out of jail that why he dnt to see daylite again. The girl that helo him leave town should also get charge. some people feel like that they could take sum1 & get away with it. Sum of us go to the grave about once a week and go sit with his mama. We waiting for the court they so we can see they people that did and accesory after fact get punished because none of this stupid that happen to Cameron will bring him back to life. We miss you &love you so CAMERON JAMAR GATLING

I want to know if the girl that took Stan from new bern is she going to be charge with acessery after the fact. I think that the owner need to be charge also. Because why will you throw the people i=out that supposed to be fighting at the same time. This is second son Cam mama losted within 4 years. They need to give the people who did it 25 years in prison.

I was there that night...I remember it like it was yesterday. I was standing around looking for my man who was security there. I saw someone hit the floor so I said, "Oh lord, its bout to go down." I saw people going to the middle of the dance floor. I knew it was a fight. So I ran to my lil cousin and told her to come on. I ran to the car. The car was locked. All of a sudden I heard 2 gunshots. I hit the ground. I saw someone running up the road. Then I saw a car ride by me and he was shooting. I would also like to say that the police did not know that Cam was over on the ground injured. They were to busy trying to write tickets to everyone who wouldnt leave. Everyone was running around going crazy saying. Someone got shot and thats when the police found him. He (Cam) was on the ground for like 20mins before the police got to him. I send my deepest sympathy to the family of Cam.

i want to know if they saying on the news that a fight broke out in the club why did owner throw the people out i look at it that he didn't care what happen on the outside. If he would have let one group leave and made sure they left the premises. maybe Cameron will be here now. I think that they security officer should done more there what they did. i feel like the club should be close b/c too many people getting hurt 7 kill out there. They also don't need to let this person off easy because we already lost two brothers in our family behind stupid mess. Cameron was the 2nd son that this lady loss. And the bad part both of them was shot. The justice system need to be more hard on people. Why you kill someone you get bout five years and you get caught with drugs you get 15 years or more. Me & Cameron had some good times together. The bad thing we lost a love one on Valentine"s day.

When i heard that sum1 got shot i didnt knw it was my cam. When i used 2 go 2 d club if any1 tak a weapon was lookin for trouble.Shootin or stablin dnt solve the problem for what happen. I think dat the police need 2 get tough and owner need more security. Even if they decide to shut down sum clubs dat not going 2 bring ppl bac alive. Cameron mama dune lost 2 boys dat been shot within 4 1/2 years. They need 2 have a better court system if sum1 kill a person in open should not see daylite again. R.I.P. Cameron u will b truly missed but not forgotten.
