A half dozen car break-ins have been solved, and police are checking to see if their suspect is responsible for others.
David Ruffin was arrested Monday by Greenville police for breaking into several vehicles in the Ashcroft subdivision last month. He is also charged with using a credit card taken from one of the vehicles.
The 19-year-old is charged with six felony counts of breaking & entering into a motor vehicle, felony obtaining money by false pretenses and misdemeanor larceny.
Ruffin is in jail on a $60,000 secured bond.
