Man Charged In Rash Of Storage Building Break-Ins

Deputies say an alert neighbor helped them nab a break-in suspect who had been targeting a Wayne County community.

Guy Johnson II is accused of breaking into storage sheds and automobiles in the Rosewood community beginning in early January. He's in jail on $180,000 bond after his arrest on multiple charges of breaking and entering, felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods.

Deputies say Johnson stole nearly $4,000 in goods and they've recovered some $3,658 in stolen property.

Citizens in the area are being asked to inspect storage areas for any signs of a break-in as they feel some cases may not have been reported.
