A 15-year-old is accused of shooting a Kinston woman Sunday night in Wayne County while three men are facing gun charges stemming from the shooting.
Deputies say it happened at the Durham Lake clubhouse. Laronda Leonard was shot in the leg and treated at a local hospital.
Responding officers spotted a truck matching the description of the vehicle which left the shooting. All four people were detained and later charged.
The juvenile is now at the Pitt County Juvenile Detention Center, charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, and firing into occupied property.
Domiko Davis of Goldsboro is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and carrying a concealed weapon; Pastrada Person of Goldsboro is charged with carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of less then 1-1/2oz of marijuana; and Lando Phillips of Goldsboro is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, and carrying a concealed weapon.
Davis and Phillips had bonds set at $50,000 while Person was released on a written promise to appear.
