Pair Rob And Kidnap A Man In Jacksonville

Two men are behind bars Sunday night after Jacksonville Police charge them with kidnapping among other charges.

The exact charges go as follows. Timothy Wayne Hargroves, Jr is 28: He was charged with 2nd Degree Kidnapping, Armed Robbery (2 counts), Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2 counts), Felony Conspiracy (2 counts), Felony Possession of Stolen Property (2 counts), Unauthorized Presentment of Card (Financial Fraud), Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Resist Obstruct and Delay an Officer. He's being held on 80,000 dollar bond.

The person is Jason Cameron Haynes who is 18. He was charged with 2nd Degree Kidnapping, Armed Robbery (2 counts), Felony Conspiracy (2 counts), Felony Possession of Stolen Goods (2 counts).
he's being held on 65,000 dollar bond.

Police say Timothy Hargrove of Blue Creek Road in Jacksonville and and Jason Haynes of Jacksonville kidnapped a Ohio man Saturday night when the victim left his hotel room to go grab a bite to eat.

The victim tells police he was taken against his will, robbed, then released on Myrtlewood Circle in Jacksonville.

Police already had the pair in custody when they arrested them on another robbery charge earlier that day.

Two Jacksonville men were arrested Saturday evening after being linked to two separate pedestrian robberies in Jacksonville. Jacksonville Police arrested the pair after they were located in a vehicle that was described by the victims in both incidents. The first robbery occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. on University Drive. A 17 year old Jacksonville man was robbed at knife point and after returning to his residence, he was able to notify police who in turn had the two suspects in custody a short time later. Officer Michael Frazier spotted the vehicle, a grey Dodge Neon near the intersection of Western Blvd. and Country Club Rd. Subsequently, an arrest was made at that time for the University Drive robbery. While investigating the first incident, Police were notified of a second incident when a 22 year old Ohio resident reported that he had been robbed and kidnapped on Western Blvd. The victim stated that he was released by the suspects on Myrtlewood Circle in Jacksonville shortly afterwards. The second victim told police that he walking from his hotel to a fast food restaurant on Western blvd. when the incident occurred on Saturday evening. Police were able to link the two incidents.
