Two congregations sharing the same unfortunate circumstances came together Sunday to worship.
The members of Greater Mt. Zion Christian Church were forced to hold their Sunday service at the Memorial Baptist Church this Sunday after there house of worship was burned to the ground two weeks ago. In a strange coincidence Memorial Baptist was also set ablaze two years earlier.
Despite their hardships they gave praise as Greater Mt. Zion's leader tells WITN. Bishop Joe N. Dixon says, "two paths have crossed and two friendships have greeted one another in love and in the bond of Christ and we're thankful to pastor Mckenny and members."
So far we don't have information on when a *new* church will be built for Greater Mount Zion.
