Assistant Coach McQueary Takes Stand In Sandusky Case

Penn State assistant football coach Mike McQueary has told jurors at Jerry Sandusky's sex abuse trial about seeing the former coach with a boy in a campus shower.

It's the second time McQueary has testified publicly about his 2001 encounter in the Penn State football building. He also testified at a preliminary hearing for two Penn State administrators.

McQueary says Sandusky was standing behind a boy who was propped up against a wall. He says the boy appeared to be about 10 to 12 years old.

He says he closed a locker loudly "in an attempt to say `someone's here, break it up."' He says he then called his father.

Sandusky is on trial for 52 counts involving 10 boys over a 15-year span. He has denied the allegations.

Previous Story

A teenager whose complaints by his mother about Jerry Sandusky in 2008 prompted a grand jury investigation tearfully told jurors the former Penn State assistant football coach performed oral sex on him after meeting him through his charity.

The boy, labeled Victim No. 1 by prosecutors, is now 18 years old. He choked back tears as he spoke of encounters that included Sandusky fondling him, kissing him and ultimately engaging in a sex act.

The teen is the second of Sandusky's accusers to testify in the former coach's high-profile child sex-abuse trial. Sandusky faces 52 counts involving 10 boys over a 15-year span.

Sandusky has denied the allegations. His attorney says the accusers have financial motivations for their claims.
