Trial Begins For Onslow Co. Man Charged With Making Mobile Meth Lab

Jury selection has wrapped up in Onslow County for a man accused of running a mobile meth lab and opening arguments are expected tomorrow.

LaDonn Simpson was before a judge Monday afternoon in Onslow County. Both sides are working to fill the jury box. Simpson faces a number of charges related to making and selling meth. Prosecutors say officers found evidence of a mobile meth lab in Simpson's SUV-items Simpson says were not his.

If convicted, and given the maximum sentence on every count, Simpson could face a lifetime prison term.
