Beefed-Up Spanish Rice

If you're looking for something new to spice up your ordinary dinner routine, then our zesty Beefed-Up Spanish Rice is just the ticket. You'll have a stress-free dinner on the table in no time!

Serves: 6

Cooking Time: 30 min

What You'll Need:
1 1/2 pounds ground beef (see Note)


1 cup uncooked long-grain or brown rice
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 1/2 cups water
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups salsa


Grill with Beef

What To Do:
1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, saute beef until browned; drain off excess liquid.

2. Stir in remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 20 minutes, or until rice is tender. Serve immediately.
