WITN News and the North Carolina Education Lottery look forward to honoring a “Teacher of the Week” each Wednesday on WITN News at Sunrise during the 2012 - 2013 school year.
WITN News is now requesting nominations and will choose the weekly “Teacher of the Week” based on a series of attributes including experience, educational success, inspirational stories and positive student influences.
WITN and the North Carolina Education Lottery will announce our first “Teacher of the Week” during the first week of September 2012 and then continue to honor a teacher each week until the end of the school year in June 2013.
