World Champion Boxer Hector Camacho Dies

World champion boxer Hector Camacho died Saturday at a trauma center in Puerto Rico.

The boxer known for his lightning-quick hands emerged from a troubled childhood to become a world champion in three weight classes. Camacho went into cardiac arrest early Saturday and died later after being taken off life support.

He was shot in Puerto Rico November 22, while sitting in a vehicle outside a bar. Another man in the vehicle was also shot but died at the scene. Camacho was 50-years-old.

No arrests have been made in the shootings.
