Woman Faces 21 Drug Charges Including Selling Near A School

A Snow Hill woman is in jail on a $1,000,000 bond after her arrest on 21 drugs charges, some of those happened near a school.

Greene County Sheriff Lemmie Smith says Linda Croom was arrested Thursday.

She is charged with 16 counts of trafficking opium/heroin, three counts of maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place, and two counts of manufacture/sell/deliver within 1,000 feet of a school.

Smith says the woman lived on Petteway Street, which is near West Greene Elementary School. He says detectives made undercover buys from Croom which led to her arrest.
