Woman Charged In Theft Of $45,000 Cash From Safe

A woman has been arrested in connection with the theft of $45,000 in cash from a locked safe.

Angela Farfour of Goldsboro is charged with felonious larceny and felonious possession of stolen property.

Police say a homeowner on Laurel Street reported on February 5th that someone got into their locked safe and made off with the cash.

The 40-year-old woman turned herself in at the magistrate's office on Friday and was jailed on a $7,000 secured bond.
