Winter Storm Bears Down On Pacific Northwest

Print
Updated: Tue 10:36 AM, Dec 18, 2012

A trough of low pressure will drop down from Alaska, bringing a cold air mass over the Seattle and Portland areas. Strong winds are expected to slam the coast lines and I-5 corridor between the two cities. Blizzard warnings have been put up for the mountain ranges and winter storm advisories have been issued for much of the Puget Sound region. If you are traveling to or from the area, expect possible delays associated with this winter storm event.
