Second Arrest Made In Greenville Man's Murder

A second arrest has been made in the murder of a Greenville man in Wilson.

Wilson police have charged Jose Reyes with first degree murder.

The body of 41-year-old Victor Rojas of Greenville was found around 6:30 p.m. Sunday on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway.

On Monday, police arrested Jose Lara-Zavala in Durham for the murder.

The 31-year-old Reyes is being held without bond.

Police say they have made an arrest in the murder of a Greenville man that happened Sunday evening in Wilson.

Wilson police arrested Jose Lara-Zavala with the help of Durham police.

The 33-year-old is charged with killing 41-year-old Victor Rojas of Greenville.

Police say Rojas's body was found around 6:30 p.m. Sunday on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway.

Investigators say the murder was not a random act of violence and it remains under investigation.

Wilson police say they're investigating the shooting death of a man.

Police got a call at 6:32 Sunday evening about a person being shot on 1724 Martin Luther King Parkway.

Authorities say when they arrived they found a Hispanic man who had been shot.

They're not releasing his name until his family can be notified.

As of Sunday evening, police personnel were still actively on the scene and investigating the incident.
