The 31st Annual Washington Summer Festival had a busy day Saturday. Although Friday's stormy weather kept festival-goers away, Saturday's clear and sunny conditions helped to get people out and about.
An all local lineup of bands, including boys group K-OS, CAPS, and The Mikele Buck Band, performed. Sunday night you can catch the Emerald City Big Band at 5:30 p.m. and the North Carolina Symphony at 7:30 p.m. It's sponsored by Potash Corp.
The Dockdogs will be competing from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Of course, vendors will be out selling souvenirs and delicious food.
