On and off quick downpours will be possible through Sunday afternoon. Heavier rain could bring another 1 to 3 inches of rain to a few locations late Sunday and into Monday afternoon.
Milder air will move into eastern Carolina over the next few days. Afternoon highs will reach into the 50s Wednesday afternoon then warm into the 60s to lower 70s Thursday through Saturday.
Skies will be mostly cloudy on Wednesday with a bit of patchy light rain or drizzle. Mostly sunny conditions can be expected Thursday and Friday with increasing cloud cover this weekend.
