GREENVILLE, N.C. - Three additional East Carolina football games have been added to the Pirates' broadcast schedule in 2013 according to an announcement by IMG College, the athletics department's multimedia rights partner.
WITN-TV, the flagship station of the Pirate IMG Sports Network, will carry Conference USA road contests at Tulane on Oct. 12 and Florida International on Nov. 2, while also providing live coverage of ECU's home league matchup against UAB on Nov. 16.
A 2:00 p.m. kickoff time has been established for the game against the Blazers at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
With ECU's local package in place, 10 of the Pirates' 12 contests are scheduled for live broadcast this season - Old Dominion (FCS), Florida Atlantic (FS1), Virginia Tech (FS1), Middle Tennessee (FSN), Tulane (WITN-TV), Southern Miss (FS1/FSN), Florida International (WITN-TV), Tulsa (FS1/FSN), UAB (WITN-TV) and Marshall (CBSSN).
Television options for games at North Carolina (Sept. 28) and NC State (Nov. 23) are still under consideration.
