CHARGE IT! Woman Arrested After $8,500 Rung Up On Stolen Credit Card

Police have arrested a woman on multiple charges after they say she went on a shopping spree with a stolen credit card.

Last week, Greenville police released surveillance pictures of a woman making a purchase at a local store with the stolen card. Within two hours the woman was identified.

Now, police say Ginger Elliot has been arrested on 14 counts of false pretense, and four counts of credit card theft.

Detectives say between June 12th and July 22nd some $8,500 worth of merchandise was bought with the stolen card.

The 33-year-old Elliot was jailed on a $20,000 secured bond.

Police are asking for the public to help them find a woman who rang up thousands of dollars on a stolen credit card.

Greenville police say surveillance footage captured the woman in the pink top using the credit card on July 9th. Detectives have learned that between June 12th and July 22nd some $8,500 worth of merchandise has been bought with the stolen card.
