Veterans Honored During Greenville Ceremony

The Veterans Day ceremony in Greenville Monday included a parade down First Street and an observance at the town common.

Families lined the parade route with their children and then sat in for the keynote speaker Ed Sallau from the Wounded Warriors organization.

Heather Graff, who's husband is on his 6th tour of duty in Afghanistan, brought her three children out to this year's event for one purpose. Graff says, "I want to come out here and understand and see what goes on. It's not always a good day out there, I want them to understand that things do happen and understand that completely and be able to support the military every way possible."

The military members we spoke to say they want to get the message across about the importance of providing help to the wounded who return home from war.
