Two Pedestrians Struck By Vehicle While Pushing One

Two people pushing a car in the dark were injured when they were hit by a vehicle. The drivers of both vehicles were also injured.

Washington Police say it happened Monday night on John Small Avenue near Hodges Avenue

Police say Hakeem Martess Spencer of Washington and Jerimia Quartez Mccloud of Belhaven were pushing a car being operated by Jaquana Monique Cox, when they were struck by a vehicle driven by Archie Jonathan Quintana of Roper.

All four were taken to Vidant Beaufort Hospital for treatment. Spencer and Mccloud were later taken to Vidant Pitt for further treatment.

The crash is still under investigation.
