Tropical Storm Dolly Heading Toward Mexico

Tropical Storm Dolly formed in the southwestern portion of the Gulf of Mexico in the Bay of Campeche early Tuesday. As of Tuesday afternoon, the tropical storm had sustained winds of 50 mph and was moving westward at 12 mph. The storm was located about 150 miles south-southeast of La Pesca, Mexico. Dolly is forecast to hit the Mexican coast as a tropical storm late Tuesday evening. It should stay well south of the United States, with little impact expected along the southern Texas coast.
