By  |

A teenage driver from Greenville is charged with driving drunk after troopers say he slammed his car into a tree and house in Lenoir County Thursday night. He and his passenger walked away with no major injuries.

The driver crashed into a house off of Rouse Road Extension north of Kinston in Lenoir County. The 2012 Dodge Challenger veered off the road just after 7:00 p.m., hit a tree, flipped, and ended up being stopped by a house. Troopers say 18-year- old Nathan Staskelunas of Greenville is charged with DWI and reckless driving.

The only injury was to the passenger, 18 year old Andrew Davenport of Dover. He had a small scratch on his left leg. Troopers say nobody was in the house during the crash
