Traffic Stop Leads To Huge Drug Bust In Greenville

Police say $200,000 worth of cocaine is off the streets and two drug traffickers are behind bars in Pitt County.

Greenville Police and the Pitt County Sheriff's Office stopped a silver Dodge pickup around 5:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon for following too closely at Highway 264 and Wesley Church Road in Greenville.

A drug detection K-9 picked up the odor of narcotics. Following a search officers seized 2 kilograms of powder cocaine in a hidden compartment.

Elian Rojo and Martin Rojas of Harlingen, Texas were arrested and charged with several counts of trafficking.
