Three-D Mural To Be Unveiled In Uptown Greenville

One large art design in Greenville will bring more than just a new look to the uptown area.

A three-dimensional mural is going up on the side of the Starlight Cafe on West 5th and Evans Street in Greenville.

The project is an effort between Jan Ru-Wan and Parrott Canvas to design new products and demonstrate their partnership in a public context for all to enjoy.

The artwork was created for the city of Greenville as part of a grant awarded by Artplace America to the PAC Art-Force program. The cost was $20,000.

The mural will need some final touches and will be unveiled during the umbrella market on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
