A day after police say a bomb threat was found written on a bathroom wall at Southern Wayne High School, a teenager has been charged with the crime. 16-year-old Junior Mejia of Dudley is charged with making a false report of a weapon of mass destruction on educational property.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office says at the end of the day Tuesday, writing about a bomb threat was discovered on a bathroom wall. After viewing security camera video, Mejia was identified as the suspect and questioned.

Police say he admitted to writing the threat and was taken into custody.
